Lessons Learned
I learned a valuable lesson this weekend: running a half marathon without training for it is a bad idea. Easily the worst decision of my life. i thought that I could approach it the same way I approach most things in my life and just wing it, but it turns out that a 13 mile race isn’t one of those things you can cram for at the last minute. Thinking back, the only part of training I was consistent on was carbo-loading. I did that real well. But apparently you’re only supposed to load up on carbs the day before the race…oops. another thing that would have been good to know before race day. And I didn’t even know that I had this many muscles in my body until every single one of them was in pain. I knew I was walking slow, but I didn’t realize how slow until this kid with a cast on his foot was walking faster than me and passed me on the sidewalk. That was embarrassing. But hey, I made it through the race itself without dying and apparently a few of my friends made some money off of some bets they made on me so I guess the race wasn’t a complete failure, just lessons learned.

“And since I associate a certain girl with boat shoes, I swindled her into taking a pic with me.”
Im Bloodnofsky: GAY? »
Sometime, people say “man your gay” … and i consistently reply, no, I’m not. And lately i have been getting the same response to this rebuttal of mine … .”Prove it.” Upon great amounts of thought to weather or not i can actually prove it i finally decided, there is no possible way to prove that…
